We in Indonesia have about 14 million hectares of critical and very critical land, so called because so far these lands have barely been utilyzed, make it worse because of being a source of drought in the dry season, causing floods and landslides in the rainy season.

But lands like this, God willing, will soon become a source of new economic growth which we call the Tamanu Economy, because it is Tamanu that can easily grow well on these arid lands. Tamanu trees are also of high value if we can build upstream and downstream industries out of it.

Tamanu oil mainly contains long chain hydrocarbons C16-C18, which can easily be used as raw materials for various industries. Its cold-pressed oil contains multiple health benefits, ideal for a wide range of beauty and care products. Even the Anti Aging product that we make from Tamanu oil has been registered with BPOM, we can share our product briefing for those of you who are interested in joining.

Special bioactive compounds that are only found in Tamanu such as Calophyllolide and Calophyllic Acid can be extracted for green pharmacy raw materials which have very high value. After taking the valuable substances, the remaining Tamanu oil can be processed into all kinds of fuels that we need, such as diesel, gasoline, jet fuel and even LPG.

Waste from fuel production is still of high value for animal feed because of its high protein, it can replace protein sources such as fishmeal, bonemeal, etc. which we have imported from from various countries.

As the need for raw materials for these products will continue to grow, more Tamanu trees need to be planted on arid lands, the impact of which will be a structured, systematic and massive reforestation and environmental conservation movement.

In the Net-Zero era, which only recognizes plants planted in previously arid areas, which are recognized as carbon removal, then Carbon Credit whose value will continue to soar will become the next new economic further source for regions that are still arid until now.
