Green, Renewable and Halal

The harvest season is the time that farmers have been waiting for. But not infrequently the opposite happens, farmers always face two risks, namely crop failure and failure to sell. Crop failure can be minimized by improving cultivation techniques, but what about failure to sell?

In addition to the trade system that must be in favor of the farmers, there must be someone who thinks of a way out if the farmers really fail to sell their crops. And not only at the farm level, in markets we often encounter piles of fruit and vegetable waste — perishable agricultural products.

Tomatoes, for example, many are not harvested and are even deliberately dumped on the streets when prices fall during the harvest season. Whereas vegetables such as tomatoes are rich in Beta Carotene and Lycopene which are of high value because our bodies need it for eye health, cell growth, maintaining healthy heart, lungs, kidneys and antioxidants to prevent cell damage etc.

Unfortunately for the extraction of these valuable compounds, the ecosystem has not yet been developed, and more than that, so far it still involves solvents that are chemically based on fossil oil derivatives.

So herein lies the strategic role of the new type of solvent that we have developed, which we call SolveX. Apart from being green — it does not use any fossil derivative products, it is completely renewable and guaranteed to be halal.

We haven’t marketed this solvent yet, but for the industrial R&D team, students looking for a thesis topic, and other solvent stakeholders — who are interested in developing the SolveX application, you can already elaborate on the opportunity with us.
