Green Perfume : The Greener the Safer
Classical perfumes generally use vegetable oils for their carriers, so the way they are used is different from today’s perfumes.
Perfume oil — hence the term perfume for us — is applied to the body, some is absorbed into the body and then comes out again with sweat, some evaporates directly due to our body heat, both of which present a fragrance that can radiate from the wearer for a long time.
However, many people today prefer modern perfume, which is used by spraying it. So the most commonly used carrier is alcohol or absolute alcohol — that is, 99% alcohol.
This is not without problems, perfume that uses carrier alcohol is actually categorized as flammable, its Flash Point is only 14 C — meaning that even at the coldest temperature in Indonesia, it can catch fire if there is a lighter.
Another problem is alcohol has the effect of drying the skin, when the aroma emanating from our bodies comes from alcohol perfume, at the same time our skin becomes dry.
It is for these various problems that in the world of fragrances we present SolveX. Non-flammable perfume solvent or carrier, flash point is 133 C — other things will burn before your perfume burns.
Moreover, perfumes that use SolveX as it’s carrier do not dry out the skin, but instead soften and moisturize the wearer’s skin. Greener ones are also safer.
