Green Impact: One Solution For Two Problems

There were two serious problems in our national media yesterday for those who paid attention to them, two things that look very different, the locations are different in Indonesia and in Malaysia, but the common thread can be drawn, namely what is called sustainability.

In Indonesia, the price of fuel can be the most expensive in the world, in Tolikara Papua, where 1 liter of gasoline costs up to IDR 100,000. This news was revealed from the complaints of motorcycle taxi drivers in the area to President Jokowi. So where is the one price policy?

Oh, the policy is still there, Pertamina’s official price is still Rp 9,200/liter for the area, the problem is that there are no goods — so people have to buy from unofficial sources at a price more than 10 times higher then official price.

The second problem is flooding in seven states at once in Malaysia. What caused it? Environmental damage, the impact of global climate change and its end is also related to the excessive use of fossil fuels on a global scale.

So the link between the two problems lies in the dependence on fossil energy. That’s why we introduced the concept of Local Fuel — that is, fuel that is produced from local vegetable or animal resources and is also used by local people.

It could be that if it is made in Java or other big islands, it would still be more expensive than the official fossil fuel price, but if it is made in Tolikara, it would be much cheaper than the fuel price complained about until the President of the Republic of Indonesia mentioned above.

And this price can be reduced even further if the cost of procuring raw materials is shared with other high-value products — such as care products, antiaging, etc. that we developed at NuAge. We can reduce fuel prices while improving the environment, and you can already be involved in this green impact movement.
